Our story
Pistachios is for slow mornings, dog walks, & coffees that make you stay longer than you planned.
In 1983, Aysin Djemil and his wife Sally opened the first Pistachios at 115a Trafalgar Road in Greenwich. A simple belief: great coffee and homemade food taste better outdoors. Four decades on, Pistachios has grown into a family of park cafés — each with its own character, its own community, its own regulars.
Every location has its own character — its own park, its own community, its own morning light. But the warmth is the same in all of them.
And the park is never just a backdrop. Jazz mornings, summer BBQs, seasonal gatherings and community fundraisers — these are the moments that make Pistachios something more than a café. They are what keep people coming back.
